How Does AcceleDent® Work?
The AcceleDent® accessory is portable and removable and consists of a mouthpiece that connects to an activator. When in use, it will gently vibrate using SoftPulse technology. These micropulse vibrations travel through the roots of your teeth to the surrounding bone to hasten tooth movement and increase the rate of cellular activity compared to the constant, static pressure experienced with braces. How Do I Use AcceleDent®?
Easy to handle, users will begin their session by attaching the mouthpiece to the activator. Once the activator is turned on, it is placed in the mouth and bitten down on firmly to hold it into place and ensure there is contact on all sides of the mouthpiece. The device should then be used for a full, continuous, 20-minute session every day at around the same time.
